Daniel’s career is deeply rooted in Munich, where he has spent his life studying, working, and making an impact in the field of electronics engineering. After earning a Master of Science in Electrical and Information Engineering from the Technical University of Munich, Daniel began a long and successful journey at Silver Atena.
FROM DEVELOPER TO LEADER AT SILVER ATENA
Daniel joined Silver Atena in 2013 as a student intern and quickly progressed through roles, gaining hands-on experience in electronics development. For over 11 years, he contributed to the company’s success, beginning as a Power Electronics Engineer and later transitioning into project management. By 2018, Daniel was leading teams and overseeing multiple hardware development projects, managing up to 15 people. His ability to navigate technical challenges while keeping projects on track solidified his reputation as a trusted leader.
A ONCE-IN-A-LIFETIME OPPORTUNITY AT DEEPDRIVE
In September 2024, Daniel joined us as an Electronics Engineering Specialist. The move was inspired by the opportunity to work on groundbreaking technology within a dynamic and rapidly growing team. With encouragement from his former colleague, now our Electronics Engineer Dominik Maier, Daniel saw DeepDrive as a chance to contribute to a transformative project in his hometown of Munich.
Daniel is now responsible for managing all electronics projects at DeepDrive. This includes coordinating development timelines, solving complex technical issues, and supporting the Electronics Hardware team. His role ensures the seamless integration of innovative solutions, laying the groundwork for the company’s ambitious goals in the electric mobility sector.
LOOKING AHEAD
Daniel is confident about DeepDrive’s future, believing the company is on the brink of achieving its first serial production project. He acknowledges the road ahead and is motivated by the team’s adaptability and commitment to excellence.
LIFE BEYOND ENGINEERING
Outside of work, Daniel’s passion lies on the football pitch. For over a decade, he has been coaching youth teams, training players aged under 12 to under 15. When he’s not coaching, Daniel enjoys playing football himself, finding the sport a perfect way to balance his professional and personal life.
